Entering a Category couldn’t be easier

The OAS Development Awards is the only event in our industry judged and awarded by agents and property experts who recognises excellence in office development, sustainability and transactions across the wider UK and City of London & West End markets.

 

It is free to enter, all you need to do is complete the entry form which will inform the judges of the property or deal you would like to bring to our attention.

 

The qualifying entry period for Deals and Developments are those that completed between 1 January 2016 – 31 December 2016. Please note that entries need to be submitted before the 24 February 2017.

The awards presented are in 11 categories that are open to Developments and Deals throughout the UK. You can enter as an agent, developer, architect or owner, in as many categories as you wish.

 

The Awards will be presented at a Lunch Ceremony on Friday 16 June 2017 at The Pavilion in the Tower of London.

This category is open to speculative and bespoke new-build developments completed between January 2016 and December 2016. Speculative schemes will be judged on their architectural qualities, flexibility and attractiveness to institutions: bespoke developments will be judged on their design and how well they meet specific occupier requirements on a pre-let or forward-sale basis.

Open to all leasing or owner-occupier transactions (or group of transactions) exchanged in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland between January 2016 and December 2016. Judging criteria will include size and profitability.

This category is open to speculative and bespoke refurbishments/regenerations completed between January 2016 and December 2016. Speculative schemes will be judged on their architectural qualities, flexibility and attractiveness to occupiers and institutions: bespoke refurbishments/ regenerations will be judged on their design and how well they meet specific occupier requirements on a pre-let or forward-sale basis. No more than 49% of the net internal area may be new build.

Best Refurbishment / Regeneration Outside of Central London

This category is open to speculative and bespoke new-build developments completed between January 2016 and December 2016. Best West End Refurbishment / Regeneration

Awarded to the UK’s best fund or developer, based on developments completed between January 2016 and December 2016. Developments must be in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

An award which recognises an individual's outstanding contribution to the UK office market. The award will be judged across categories.
